Chai Apple Cake

  • 1 apple, cut into slices
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup filtered water

Heat in a saucepan until the water evaporates. Remove from heat and place apple in a spiral at the bottom of a lined cake tin.


  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/3 cup of sugar
  • 1/3 cup stewed apple
  • 1 cup of nut milk
  • 1 cup of coconut flour
  • 1 cup of buckwheat flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup of brewed Byron Chai

Mix cake ingredients and then pour over apples. Bake on 180 degrees for 30- 40 minutes 🙌 Serve with coconut yoghurt, maple syrup and cinnamon!
